Clipboard allows you to save your favorite clips from around the web and view them at Clipboard.com. With our latest release you now have a number of embed options that allow you to easily integrate clips, boards and our embed button on any web page.
There are three main options:
- Clip embeds: either interactive HTML or a scaled image of the clip.
- Board embeds: an interactive preview of any user board.
- Embedded Clipper: integrate a clip button on you web page, to let users easily clip your content.
Clip Embeds
Clip embeds are a great way to put content such as, stock prices, recipes, movie reviews etc. directly on your web page. Clips can either be full size interactive HTML, or if you want to display a smaller version of the clip you can scale it to be a smaller preview image.
To embed a clip, go to the "Embed Clip" option in the share menu (as shown below), located at the top of each clip. You will be presented with a snippet of HTML that you can paste directly into your web page along with the option to specify the size of the clip.
Below is an example of a scaled clip embed. Go ahead and click on the embed to see the in-page lightbox that allows you to like, comment and reclip the clip.
Board Embeds
This is a completely new embed option that a lot of our users have been asking for. You can now embed your favorite boards in your blog or website, which is a great way to let your users keep up to date with your latest clips.
Simply go to a board page e.g. http://clipboard.com/jennifer/boards/recipes and click on the embed menu option (as shown below):
Copy the HTML snippet into your web page and you will see an interactive board. The board shows the latest clips and clicking on the board brings up an in-page lightbox. Give it a go, click on the board below (it's fully interactive):
Embedded Clipper
The Embedded Clipper feature is an easy way to let users of your site save a clip with a single click. As with the other embed options, you simply add a small piece of HTML to your website and specify which elements should be clipped when the user clicks on the embed button.
Below is an interactive example of the embedded Clipper, click on the button to see it in action.
Clip this box by clicking the button:
Since sine waves propagate without changing form in distributed linear systems, they are often used to analyze wave propagation. Sine waves traveling in two directions can be represented as

.
When two waves having the same amplitude and frequency, and traveling in opposite directions, superpose each other, then a standing wave pattern is created.
To add an embed button to your web site, go to our tools page and follow the instructions.
